Olivia Rodrigo has revealed that 'Get Him Back' and 'All American Bitch' on Guts both had much more explicit lyrics at first.
Olivia Rodrigo is no wallflower when it comes to swearing in songs. In the bridge of her debut single 'Drivers License', Olivia famously sings 'I still fucking love you' at the top of her lungs. On 'Vampire', Olivia calls out her ex for being a "fame-fucker" and on 'Bad Idea Right?' Olivia asks, "Seein' you tonight, it's a bad idea, right?", before deadpanning "Fuck it, it's fine".
Now, Olivia has opened up about how she chooses when to swear in songs and which explicit lyrics she's cut from songs.

In a new interview, Jimmy Kimmel told Olivia that his son had started singing the swear words in 'Vampire'. Olivia apologised saying: "I'm so sorry. I'm such a bad influence."
When asked if she ever edits her lyrics for her younger audience, Olivia said: "I do. I think about it often. I love using a swear word when I think it's tasteful and necessary. Sometimes I try to tone it down. There were a few songs on the album where I was swearing all over them and then I kind of had to pair it back."
Olivia then specified that she changed the lyrics to 'Get Him Back'. She stated: "Like in 'Get Him Back', it's ''Cause I miss the way he kisses and the way he made me laugh' and originally it was ''Cause I miss the way he kisses and the way he grabbed my ass'. I was like 'Mmm, my mom listens to this.'
'All American Bitch' also had a revamp. Olivia added: "In 'All American Bitch', it's 'Perfect all American lips and perfect all American hips' and originally it was 'Perfect all American lips and perfect all American tits'."
I need these versions and I need them now!
Olivia ended the segment by joking: "I hope your kids are safe and sound somewhere and not listening to this."
What do you think? Should Olivia have kept the original lyrics?
