Lewis Capaldi made things official with his new girlfriend Ellie MacDowall at the beginning of this year and they're going strong!

The 'Forget Me' singer confirmed his new relationship just in time for Valentine's Day at the BRITs after-party on February 12, the pair went as each other's dates to the star-studded bash.

Lewis, 26, and Ellie, 23, were spotted at London's O2 during the award show looking every bit loved-up, they even shared a kiss in the audience.

And since then they've been pictured out and about with Lewis' parents, looking relaxed and at ease in each other's company.

Ellie is reportedly supporting her musician boyfriend following his tour cancellation, the star is taking a break from performing to 'foreseeable future' to 'rest and recover'.

How long have Lewis Capaldi and Ellie MacDowall been together?

It's unknown when the couple first got together, but they made their first public appearance in February 2023, making everyone assume that they're getting serious!

The couple were first linked back in December, with Lewis even making an appearance on Ellie's Instagram. The love birds spent dates hiking in Scotland and she's posted stories of Lewis performing at a gig in Dublin, Ireland.

Attendees from the BRITs Universal Music after-party spoke about the happy couple to the tabloids, they said: "It’s official, Lewis is in love and he couldn’t be happier."

The insider revealed more about the burgeoning relationship between the pop star and actress: "He has been dating Ellie for some time now and while they are usually very low-key, he couldn’t keep his hands off her at the after-party. It was very sweet to see him so happy, and Ellie clearly adores him too."

Lewis and Ellie can be seen looking happy as ever in photos obtained by the publication, they got cosy at the soirée and could be chatting away on the sofas.

After the singer shared a sentimental post announcing his music hiatus, a source revealed to the Daily Mail: "Lewis needs to be around those who love him at the moment and Ellie is supporting and comforting him through this really difficult time.

"He absolutely adores her. She wasn’t at Glastonbury but his parents were, along with his very supportive team that he has around him. As soon as he got home, Ellie made sure she was here for him," the insider told the publication.

Who is Ellie MacDowall?

Like Lewis, Ellie is a Scot and hails from Edinburgh!

The 23-year-old is also familiar with the arts and studied dance for commercial performance for three years at The MGA Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in 2020.

It's reported that she now works as an actress and model and lives in London. She's reportedly set to play Cary Grant's daughter in an ITV biopic, a role which will no doubt put her on the path to superstardom.
