The '30 Days' singers also praise Sean Paul for being "lovely" to work with.
The Saturdays have described new single 'What About Us' as a "fresh start" for their new studio album, but promise fans their sound hasn't changed too much.
The 'All Fired Up' five-piece have returned this year with the Sean Paul featuring hit, and say they still keep in touch with the 'She Doesn't Mind' rapper after working with him last year.
"We all loved it after we demoed it and it gave us a really good feeling," Una Healy told Digital Spy this past week. "It's a fresh start for a new album as it's got that slight reggae vibe, but is still a dance pop record."
The '30 Days' star went on to say that Sean Paul was the "perfect" fit for the song, and spoke highly of the Jamaican rapper after they got to go into the recording studio with him to record the song.
"He's coming over next week to so another performance with us," Una teased. "So we're keeping in touch all the time. He's lovely."
